We always can feel lonely. It has nothing to do with being single or married. We can feel lonely as well with a lot of people around. When we are not integrated, everybody ignore us. Or our spouse do not gives us the necessary attention and his/hers hobbies he/she is doing alone. To fight against loneliness is having own occupations and to have something that satisfies us. – Blessings, Rose

Gosh it is so amazing that at the times when I feel lonely it is a sign for me to spend time with the Lord. I usually pray are call someone to talk to. God is the only one that can help you overcome loneliness. When quiet time is spent with God the loneliness banishes.
