    Some great tips!

Also, exercise, and a healthy diet is a good element to incorporate into the therapy. And spiritually, it helps to be active in fellowship. It helps the inner self overcome depression elements.

Keep up the great work & advice Angie!

My experience on taking an anyi-deppresant medication:

Anti-depressants when needed, taken under medical supervision, can actually clear the way to a more spiritual you and assist one reach all the goals one has, to serve your family, your job but most of all reach all God wants and needs of you.

I have multiple sclerosis which has required that I take an anti-depressant and I, like many was bothered at first about taking an anti-depressant.

Once I understood that depression is not giving in or giving up but a medical condition, as I believe Angie said, I did not feel guilty or that I was not the “real” me on anti-depressants. The reverse actually happened and I returned to being able to work at my goals, concentrate and exceed my initial goals. I became more confident in myself and more trusting of God to help me do more than I ever thought I could do.

I know that spiritually, I am more able able to serve God again and follow HIS plan for me now. Do not be ashamed if you need an anti-depressant. It may put you back to the real you and HE will be pleased at your achievements!

    God is blessing all, always

I never had to take anti-depressants. My opinion is we sould deal with depression in another way. It’s to easy to take medicine. We have to deal with what make us depressive. Loading our burdon on God’s shoulders and finding somebody to spak about our sarrows and problems. Blessings, Swiss Rose
